That is the plan. I got 14 weeks to finish the engine/trans and put the car back together. Block is at the machine shop, probably done by now, just need crank and head finished and it's time to reassemble.
I am very excited to get this thing ready.

Question, where's the best place to stay if I decide to make a weekend of it?

Looks like Saturday is some sort of 'Real Street' event

If the wife comes along, we'll just spend the night somewhere. If not, I'll probably just drive up and back (only 2 hour drive).

Should be a blast - I was There Last week - First open day of 2016 and I had a good time.

Traction was an issue. :shock: Either My slicks have outlived their usefulness or The track was not prepped or both!

I have 3 ready to go. Black Truck, new(Old) Gray Truck and the race car. Plus Denny's truck developed a rod knock, so it is in pieces in the garage right now. Waiting on parts and then reassemble.

Trying to get the car ready in a month after buying....
Just running out of money.....
Tough paying for everything in a couple weeks.....
Doesn't look we are going to make the race...
Disappointed.... Was looking to get my gf racing for the first time n getting my daughter ready for a fall run.....
Will come anyway......Enjoy the company :-)
