I can't remember who, but someone used to make one for the Slant.

Pretty sure modifying a V-8 one is a no-no. :D

thanks , I don`t know how strict they are going to be , this is going to be the first full season for IHRA rules, if I read them right anything over 6.99et in the 1/8th you need both.

Are they asking for SFI approved?

I was able to make my own Kevlar flex shield and get it passed by my sactioning body.

no sandy they haven`t asked but they did make me replace my belts because of exspired dates , I`m hoping to increase the blower drive and this hopefully put me into the 6.99ets which if I am reading the rules for super pro brackets I need flex plate and trans shields. I was thinking if I had a sb flex shield and made flat bar exstention if it could pass.

Check out Tom Waters in Florida, That is who made my SFI approved metal flexplate shield for the slant six. Metal ones you get 5 years before recertification.

I have gotten SB SFI flexplates for the LA engine and modified them to fit the slant - They were sfi Approved when new - not sure now?

Here's what I used on ruster and the 69 dart if you need a sfi and stock type pulley location.
