That 2040-parts site is an eBay content scraper. Putting your contact info in on it is a risky idea; you'll find none of the items on there are actually "orderable" and most of them are from long-expired eBay auctions.

sorry about that Shadango, I wasn't aware, I was just posting what I found. I still have feelers out to my brother in PA, he used to own a super six and is rebuilding an F-body currently (putting a 360 in it).

There's one in this recent pic from Carlisle Nationals....scroll down in article.

Likely not too helpful, just FYI, they do exist.

You want rare? Try finding the van-specific Super Six air cleaner and/or kickdown linkage. In years of watching I have only ever found ONE of the air cleaners (I bought it from a guy in California, of all places) and ONE of the kickdown linkage pieces. I saw a picture of another air cleaner once, but I think the van Super Six air cleaner and kickdown linkage are some of the rarest slant six parts out there.

If you aren't looking for factory correct, just keep the single barrel air clener housing, cut out the carb throat opening, cut the carb throat opening out of a cheap chrome open element ait cleaner, pop rivet the two barrel opening into the one barrel housing, seal it up with RTV.

Wow, Reed, that is rare...

FYI, when combining metal parts like that, rather than pop rivets and RTV, I like to use Steelstik (JB Weld product) a two part epoxy putty.

http://www.jbweld.com/products/steelsti ... utty-stick

It's easy to work and shape like modeling clay and you can scrape away the excess before it hardens. Once hardened, it's like a rock. I think that would work wonderfully on the project you describe above, just make sure the two metal parts have a decent overlap and the mating surfaces are bare metal and roughened with sand paper. Squeeze a ring of that putty between them and scrape away the excess that squeezes out. Those two parts will never come apart again and the epoxy takes paint well.

Yeah, JB Weld would work, too. I would use the "WaterWeld" version of JB Weld since it is supposed to be resistant to gasoline. JB Weld would actually be quicker than trying to drill and pop-rivet.

Well a member here saw my posts and says he has one and is gonna send pics....I am praying to the Mopar gods that this is the one...LOL

On the linkage front, I bought the main bracket on ebay and got the Bouchollon kit which seems to come with everything else I would need except maybe the throttle return spring/bracket which I think folks here said could be made......I have to find that info....I think there were sketches/drawings on one thread?

As an aside, this forum is treasure trove of info and my son and I would be lost without the experts and gurus here....thanks all!!!!!!!

Waterweld does look like a better option due to the gasoline resistance...I didn't know about that option, thanks Reed!
