Ok guys, bought a 70 d100 with a /6 in it. Been lurking here for a while now. Great site.. Someone had previously installed the Holley (2300?) with electric choke. Runs very good, can you tell if linkage and vac lines look right?Imagehttp://i36.photobucket.com/albums/e50/Ypanic2/IMG_0093_zpsqe0c6hf9.jpgImagethe air cleaner (orange mopar?) was missing the snorkel part of it. Is the truck stick or automatic? IF auto, it is missing the TV linkage.

Welcome! That looks to be a later model head judging by the valve cover and the intake (blocked off EGR). That's the same carburetor I've been using for years and it's really good once it's dialed in. I would take a look at the throttle return spring mount though, it looks like that arm might rotate upward from spring pressure and then it wouldn't return to idle.

Good eye! Return spring bracket has just 1 bolt holding it in place. Has not moved, but I guess it could, although the spring is pretty light duty. I'll check it out. I believe the head has had work done to it. The engine is "Chrysler blue" and the head is unpainted.

So I've been getting the air cleaner back in shape. Could not find a mopar snorkel, so I ended up cutting up a G.M. air cleaner (not a purist). I then welded in the snorkel and painted it. The heat trap door seems to work fine.

So a vac hose goes from there to the space ship thing on bottom of air cleaner and then where to?

Do I gain/loss anything by hooking up the crankcase breather to the air cleaner?
