It was decided two years ago that at the banquit that would be where the slant racers could bring up rule changes or new rules. Indulavial members can bring up a rule change or a new rule . This is where most of the slant six racers go for the awards and everybody is welcome to the banquit. Racers, Sponsers, Street drivers, or any body that has a interist in Slant Six Racing is welcome to attend. Also anybody can requist a rule change or a new rule or any debate on a rule. It is open to all who attend. The banquit is fun and informal and everybody is encouraged to attend. :D :D Thanks Ron Parker

You said "without going into blame" so who are you blaming?

You said " The sad part of this rule is who sponsered it " so who sponsored it?

No one is to blame. The rules are on the web site and are in the first news letter of the season.

Im not blaiming anyone.
Guest are you a Slant Six Racer if so do you get the news letter are do you go to the other part of our site

It does not matter who sponsered the rule.

a rule is a rule
Thanks Ron Parker

Apparently it does matter who sponsored it because two people brought it up! My only question was how did the "sponsoring" of rules work. You did answer that and thanks. Also I agree if it was a rule before the season started then it needs to be honored.

Yes I have attend a slant six race. First round meat and not sure if I would travel a great distance to enter another one. Just not that good of a racer.

I still fail to see the humor in the rule or why anyone would find it funny as to who sponsored it.

I guess this would be the best eplaniaxtion.

This was the first time that this has ever happened.

At the banquit all people who attend will look at this and decide if this is good or needs to be changed.

We are all family and no humor was ment on my part.

Do you race a Slant Six i doint care if you win or not , :D join us and tell us who you are :D :D Thanks Ron Parker

According to the rules as they are stated no points should be allowed at MOKAN.

Instead of Mike having two wins and 82 points he would have one win and 41 points.

You have to be fair to all racers in the Slant Six Racing News whether they were there or not. :D Thanks Ron Park

Just because Mike took home $500.00 for first place and put Dale on the the trailer in the final, does that mean he won?

The question is not who is responsible for the rule of implementation but what purpose was this rule intended to serve? What were we trying to promote or prevent with this rule? What was the
original intention or mind set that prompted this rule to be implemented! Again I ask what is the point??? SLANT SIX RACER!!!!????????????????????

Did anyone show up on the original weekend only to find out it had been moved? If so there is the reason for the rule. Should that racer be penalized because no one called him?
Maybe all racers that showed up on the original scheduled weekend should receive 80 points.

If someone is going to discuss the rules for the series, could you please have the curtisey, to identify yourself, at least with a nickname? It can be confusing, with "guest" since many posts can be by "guest" and it my be by different people. As for the rule, what about someone, that planned on going, or went, to the original date, and the race was not run. Now the racer cannot make the new date, for whatever reason.
