Hi, I need some sage advice from all the wagon owners out there. the tailgate on my 60'valiant won't open. It has two rotary locks on either side operated by a pull handle. The latch with a spring on one side is free, but the other is rusted and not moving. I took the panel off and have been drenching the mechanism on that side with Liquid Wrench, but to no avail. I've not taken off the pull-handle or tried to remove the rotating bar yet, but I'd rather not do that if possible. I'm also wondering if maybe there's some way that it locks that I haven't figured out...maybe that's part of the problem. When pulling on the handle, it only extends a short distance before stopping against something hard. I see the bar trying to rotate (again, one side moves, but the other is stuck). Can anyone tell me what to do? I really want to get this baby open!
