will any year 225 intake fit all engines. i have a 60 motor and am thinking of buying intake from a 76 truck motor

Yes...
All SL6 intake manifolds will bolt onto every SL6 engine ( cylinder head) produced.
Linkages and other accessories may not easily cross-over the other manifold so review those items so you can develop a "plan" to get everything connected.

If it's a factory electro-welded intake they can be very porous. It's 2 pieces of crackalack kind of welded together.
