Hi Guys is there any where to get a proper Truck Spec Distributor?

I see ones listed new on Rock Auto.. but they are also listed as the correct part for cars.

Any thoughts?

I will pay for a known good used one.

Thanks, Greg

Just curious, what makes a distributor "truck spec"?
How does it differ from what a car would use?

Forget that "remanufactured" garbage from the parts store (in person or on the web). Get a new distributor from Old Car Parts Northwest.

Thanks Dan

Will be keeping them in mind.

I was able to get what I needed from a craigslist deal. Got a bunch of original A/C parts from a truck .. to install ac in my 77 truck. The truck was in an ohio field since 1986.
It had a distributor.. truck spec 318. I got it , cleaned it up and placed it in there. Runs super smooth.

Got rid of this garbage:
