I was just trolling the internet and ran across this picture of a pretty wild slant six. Has anyone seen this thing or know anything about it? It is likely more for show than go.

I remember seeing that photo previously, sure is pretty.
Those manifolds present a long haul with a couple of sharp turns for an air fuel mix,
from a carb, or even just air with MPFI, for the set on the passenger side.
I am thinking a lot more show than go.

I see a lot of home-brewed intakes that use tubing...I've never researched this myself, but I've read in several places that the 'round tube' runner makes for a very poor intake path. Something to do with turbulences and harmonics. That's why the D shaped port and intake is a popular 'hi perf' design. Also, look at any of the fabricated aluminum tunnel ram or short ram type intakes used on engines that make serious power....they have rectangular and/or tapered runners. They wouldn't go through that effort if a round pipe worked.

I thinks cly's 1,2,3 hale a long runner whilst 4,5,6. are a short runner...


Wild. Maybe that dude has the entire power band covered??!?!??!
