While I'm thinking about it, used accelerator pump cups on the 1945 tend to tear up on reinstallation. It has been found putting the top part of the carburetor in the freezer, which shrinks it just a little bit. Helps prevent damage on reinstallation on a warm carburetor bowl,

I appreciate all the suggestions, I ended up cheating. I dropped the autoline reman R8593 on last night, and it completely corrected every issue I had. Best theory I have is the accelerator pump being forced forward instead of using its spring pressure to apply is where the difference is.
