what would be the largest cam that i could use on a slant and keep the carter 2 bbl and super six? ill need to rebuild fairly soon and was planning on keeping a stock bottom end bored over with maybe a set of forged pistons. as for the head i wanted to give it a good port and polish. what would larger valves do to an engine that was running a 2 bbl? would i have problems running a bbd with larger valves and a more agressive cam? will i have to upgrade to a 4 bbl? im shooting for 16s and maybe high 15s, can i get there with this type of set up?

currently i have a super six, 904 and 2.76 geared 7.25. with this setup, how much time would i cut from my quarter with a swap to 3.23s?

from what i've been told the cam i got will work nicely with the bbd
