Now that I have the EFI turbo thing going,I have been reading import tuner magazines for tips. There was a review of a "grounding box" that upped the rear wheel horsepower by about ten HP. Anybody now what these things are? It was sealed, and the reviewer said the company would not tell them what was inside it. It apparently just intensifies the strength of the ground in the system somehow. They are very expensive. These import tuners apparently will spend $40K on a car to make it fast.

Sounds like snake oil to me. Anything to do with grounds would only correct a defect in the system that could be remedied in other ways (tuning parameters, fuel pressure, injector size...).

Didn't look like this did it? Grounding Box

These are a joke, just upgrading the gauge size of the wires in any car's ground system will cut down on radio interference and increase the efficiency of the electrical system. These are pretty much just glorified grounding (and overpriced) straps. Why spend $180 bucks, when you can buy enough wire to do the job for under $40?
