Can the throttle rod setup be converted to work with the proline dual webers? And How?

My car is still at the paintshop for a new coat of white (but now with a nice pearl clearcoat), so I can't have a look in the enginebay right now, anyone has some clear pics of the rod's, so I can work out some ideas myself?

(BTW, what's the brand of the air-filters? K&N/ Weber? Couldn't find a brand name)

I suppose anything is possible, but, I would just change the pedal and run a cable. I tried to use the rod conversion kit that came with my Offy intake and it didn't work.
The original hyperpaks used a rod linkage and I think it was mounted to the manifold itself, so maybe you could weld something on the proline? :?
