I can see why you hate hollies (seriously) but I think that if you could lay hands on that 1922 model that I've posted some pix and apparently has been produced only in Argentina, you'll love it. Of course 'cuz it ain't a holley in complete form....

Did you figure out your problem?, you said your cooling was not a problem but when the cap was removed the coolant was cool? Is your waterpump working? I only ask -had one break the shaft,but not explode, not much coolant flow. Good luck

FYI, I think your carb is neat-o - a vast improvement over the typical diaphragm pump type. :D

I like unusual things, even if the do happen to say "holley" on them...

I'm gonna post all this funny li'l carb. I gotta tell you, is very dependable and you can get serious thing outta it if you tweak it right. It was developed to replace the carter bbl... so figure out that flows way up the traditional 1920 model. I'm modifying one so when I put it together again I'll take some pix and post those.

My coolant is cool, water pump is new and working. Metal blades, not the crappy plastic one.
