Well guys, think I’ve got it figured out. Just about finished with the mount for my A100 with a /6. Took a bit of head scratching and lots of help from Charlie S. He’s a wealth of knowledge. It mounts low on the drivers side of the motor where those of you with cars and “normal” truck would have a power steering pump if so equipped. In the A100/108 trucks/vans that’s where the alternator is mounted, so now I plan to mount the alternator above the water pump. Here’s a picture how it looks. Comments welcome.

Wow! Thought I might get some interest here.

Here’s a few more pictures of what I’ve done so far. Got to do some pulley changes and move the alternator above the water pump. Will send more pictures later.

Moving the ac compressor low on the driver side would also work for someone wanting to retain ac while mounting a supercharger to the intake manifold.

Steve, that is a really nice job you did. I really think (if you have time) you should make that bracket available to others.

Charlie, how does this mount compare to the one you made?

For a vehicle with out power steering I like this one better. In most applications, this mount will not require moving the alternator. Moving the alternator is required on his application, due to it being a A100 with the alternator being mounted in the "normal" PS location, instead of on the right side of the engine.
I made mine for the "high" mount to fit more applications. As many later "A" bodies, and trucks had PS.

Impressive work! I need to check to see if it would fit in my 64 Valiant w/o power steering. If so, I would purchase a bracket.

Here’s pictures of the alternator mount I made for above the water pump. Need to measure for a new belt, but I think all is good to go. Got a 100 amp alternator from Tuff Stuff.

Also got some work done on the exhaust. 2 1/4’” to 2 1/2”. Gonna put flanges on the merge pipe to make it easier to install. Got a ways to go, but keep hacking away!

Thats a very clean looking set-up. Nice work! I would also be interested in a compressor mount if you were so inclined. Wanting to add A/C to my wagon this year.

Count me in too Steve... I'd buy a setup. I have lots of money and can't weld...
