I am rebuilding a 600cfm holley for my built up slant. I've found that there are two holes in the main body just below the steel fuel line that connects the fuel bowls. I looked and found that there is supposed to be a balance tube, which I don't have that goes through the main body and into each of the fuel bowls. Does anyone know the purpose of this balance tube? Could I just plug off the two holes in the carb body?
