How common was it for a 1971 Slant Six / 904 Duster to have a 7 1/4" Sure-Grip rear end?

I'd say not very common.

Only one I have ever seen was in a '64 dart.

Much more common to get the sure grip with a larger axle, 8 1/4" or 8 3/4"
