Thanks Will.

If all goes well, I’m gonna look to re-set your 11.44 and 119 MPH records in the 1/4.

It starts to feel a little light at 97 MPH though.

I’ll add the second battery… I didn’t ever think I would have a race car that actually needed a rear spoiler, but maybe it would help…

Yep, good to get some kind of spoiler on there, especially for 1/4 mile. Let's talk on Saturday at CC... Very exciting!

I changed the oil, added the second battery and re-weighed it.

With a simulated 200 lbs in the driver seat (floor jack, battery, 5 gallon fuel jug, etc.) it comes in at 2,332 lbs.

With that squared off back window you may need a wing. Mike put one on the Valiant because it started getting light when he was spraying it.

Yeah,… It starts to feel a little light at the top of the 1/8th…

Not sure I want to try for 1/4 mile until I feel it out a bit more.

I s’pose I could steal a spoiler off the Neon or MR2… :|

What tire pressure are you running?

I believe Howard set them at 10 or 11…. I will verify. I have tubes, so I can drop the pressure more.

Less pressure means more squirrely at the big end maybe.

Yes, too little pressure will make the car "squirm", especially when you get off the throttle at speed.

The car didn’t feel really squirmy up top or move around when I let off. It just felt “light”… :?

Kinda like you feel when you’re driving in the rain and just start to hydroplane…. That “Ooohhh… Here we go!” Kinda thing.

The last pass when it got loose and I had to lift was most likely the dew on the track. There weren’t many cars and it was just test & tune, so no track prep to speak of.

The tires are M/T radials I believe. I’ll verify.

I've got an 8000 if you're brave.
Stan might want that one! :D :D Sorry Stan I lost my mind there for a second. :D
Right now I have my high side (over rev) set at 7200 I think. Shifting at 6700.
My highest chip is 7000. The shift light is set at 5800, but it’s still pulling beyond that. Soooo,… I tried to ignore the bright yellow light and shift by feel… I hit the 7000 rev limiter a couple times.

I would adjust the shift light, but the button fell out somewhere…

Radials will need more air than a bias.

The pics in your garage of the burnout showed low air in the pattern.

BUT, that does not take away from the fact that in the 1/4 you will probably need a wing on the back to keep it straight. That's a fast little hot rod.
