Life has been busy for the last 9 years . The truck owes me zero it has made money for me

It lost some Zest . but really about the same . This is the project . I work alot I most likely will send to a shop

If by chance issue is fuel tank pickup line and runs fine like days past . Then good enough .

Hey
Can you look for the data plate ( not the sticker in the door jamb, if the option sticker is still on the hood and readable it MIGHT be on there and see if you can get me the paint code off of that? I have a project underway and that's real close to what I'm thinking of painting mine..
One is in the cowl area under the louvered panel behind the back edge of the hood, and I think some had one at the back end of the floor pan where it meets the back cab wall.
Or if anyone else here happens to "know" it that would be great as well.

$450 just in labor to swap over from lean burn? I guess I am out of touch on current pricing

Mr.6- $450 in labor to convert a lean burn vehicle to standard carburetor and ignition is robbery. By far the most expensive part of that conversion is parts. You need a late 70s non-lean burn system Holley 1945 carburetor, a slant six electronic ignition distributor, a GM HEI module, a standard relay, some wire, and some crimp on connectors. The stock wiring harness does not nee to be modified in any way. Remove the factory negative lead from the coil. Wire the HEI + and - to the coil + and - (or, if you are using a relay, wire that into the HEI + feed). Run the two reluctor leads to the distributor. Install the non lean burn carn and distributor. Done. Very simple. A mechanic that knows what they are doing can accomplish all of this in well under an hour.
