Hello Slant Six Forum.
Thank you to all who responded to my post from earlier this year regarding my friend Jim's Valiant:
https://www.slantsix.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=68062

Sadly, Jim unexpectedly passed away recently. Jim was a good man and a good friend, with an appreciation for the early 60's A-body Valiant. His family has decided to sell the car, and I volunteered to put this information up on Slant Six Forum with the hope of placing the car with a like minded enthusiast who will give the Valiant a good home.

Before Jim passed away, he removed the radiator and had it re-cored.
Last week, some friends reinstalled the radiator with new top and bottom hoses, a new radiator cap and coolant.
A new battery was also installed.
The odometer reads 89,272.
Transmission: Pushbutton Automatic
Engine: 225 cu. in.
The car has a Blaupunkt disc player that was rather crudely installed in the dash (see photo in post 2 below).

The Valiant is in Spokane, Washington. A family friend is handling the sale of Jim's Valiant. To see the car, or for additional information, please contact Bruce - mobile (5zero9) 924-88zero3.

Jim's friend,
Gary - Spokane WA.

Gary,
I forgot to ask, It appears to be an automatic. Do you know if it is the 225 engine?
Thanks

Madwill47, thank you for your questions, you are correct on both accounts.

The car is an automatic. The engine is the 225 cu. in.

I have added this information to post 1 of this thread.

Gary

Update: Over the 4th of July Holiday, Bruce and a friend ran a camera down into the fuel tank. They found it empty, with minimal varnish. Bruce bought 6 gallons of non-ethanol gas, added it to the tank and cranked it over. The Signet cranked and fired. He drove the car in town for several miles, then pulled it into the driveway and washed it before returning it to the garage.
