Great times at Carlisle! So nice to see everyone - Greg, Charles, Ryan, Andrew, Rick, Denny, John B...

The 62 Valiant was rock solid. 4th place in Autocross (of 15 entered in the shootout). About 2 seconds behind the leader (supercharged and lowered 97 Cherokee) and only 0.5-1 sec behind 2nd and 3rd place (96 Neon RT modded and 68 Charger super modded). Show and swap were fun too. Talked to many nice folks.

I tallied up gas for the whole trip (including racing and mountain climbing to campsite) and it got just over 20 MPG. Pretty happy. Special thanks to Greg for booking and hosting me at the lovely Colonel Denning State Park campsite, and to Charles Brooks for bringing the big parts package over from MD!

More mods to come for the 62. I am thinking I will "slant" this car toward autocross performance. I think there are 2-5 seconds of time gain (on a course like Carlisle) to be had without tons of work.
