I am kinda excited about getting the Valiant out this year a couple times. It sat all last year, so it needs to be run. It needs a little carb work and we're finally going to get the 5.13 pig in it. Hoping for some high 7 second 1/8th mile runs. :mrgreen:

Man, it would be great to be together at a track and get the 'ol Slants going down the strip. Hopefully the Clay City thing can happen. I need to work on that more...

Got together with my cousin Chad and his son Taylor today. Got the car up and pulled the 4.86 out and put the 5.13 in. I brought the driveshaft home to put some new U-joints in it. We'll button it up next weekend.

Got to change oil and throw some jet in the carb and we may actually be ready for opening day. :mrgreen:
