Just a FYI. There is also a "trans brace" that is used with the adapter. It is just like the brace on the 904 and standard shift trans braces (904 and stick brace are different from each other).
The adapter I just got has and additional "hole", than the one in the picture. Not sure for what purpose, but it looks like for a hydraulic clutch cyl mount. The trans brace also has another bracket bolted to it that looks like clutch fork return springs connected there.
I'm wondering if this adapter was also used in a heavy duty stick application to allow a much larger flywheel/clutch assy.

I'm thinking there might be more than one adapter. The one I have, does not have that large "cutout" between the 11 and 2 oclock positions (Approx straight down on the engine). Mine is a compete circle except for the starter cutout. It also has an oval shaped hole, with two smaler threaded holes on either end, located where the large cutout is located. This would be about the 6 oclock position when mounted on the engine. It looks like this opening is used to access the converter bolts, when everything is mounted. Number on the casting is 212 6013.
I'll see if I can get a picture posted after the weekend.
My adapter is 1.060 thick, and the crank adapter is 1.125 thick.

I have the one with the cutout, IIRC. Mine is 1.125" thick, also if IIRC. Can measure if interested.
