Well it started with the lump port cyl head, Headrick brazed up the intake ports with a lump,a cam cam Dynamics camshaft with 985 th.lift, oversized titanium pushrods, 15 to 1 compression ratio venolia lightweight Pistons,a 4 link suspension,a 5 speed Doug Nash transmission with a 345 low gear,it would break 1 r 2 valve springs every pass, would 60 ft a 1.25 almost every pass, leaving the starting line at 10.8 to 11.2,the (Pocket Rocket) was so brutal leaving,it was ahead of it's time

Yes I had to replace crankshaft about every 25 runs,I run a 557 rear gear, shifted at 72 hundred, with the Nash 5 speed,345 low gear,I had very little dropage until 5 gear,so I made all my speed at half track, all it does in high gear is make noise,it's not going to mph like a V8,plus the 292 has a ton of torque, it was 300 ci.the motors in the (Pocket Rocket)made 610 to 620 HP, now when we put motors in Brain Browell dragster,we where able to really go crazy lighten up the crank,& no Balancer just aluminum hub

There you go.
