I'm getting ready to replace my primary wiring. Is it worth using 10 gauge wire?

According to schematics I have, the factory liked to use 14 GA all the way up to 18GA for those components. I'm sure there are other opinions, but I can't see any reason to go to 10 ga. What you've done so far is fine. I would let it go at that unless you are experiencing some problems and maybe you can just replace the wires you need to. Let me invite you to read some articles that I found very informative, both in wiring my street car and my race car: madelectrical.com. Great articles.

The 10 Ga is good for your charging circuit, but overkill for the ignition wiring. 14 or 16 Ga is plenty 'heavy' enough for the coil, ECU, BR, etc. ;)
