Anyone have a reference guide (or know of a place on the web?) that could tell me what year a Carter BBS with tag # 4198s comes from? Thanks in advance

Hmmmmm, I don't list that one..... But I betcha anything it's off a '66 truck. Reason I say, all the like numbers for a BBS are around '66, and my list shows only passenger cars. Hope that helps narrow it down at least. Maybe someone else can tell you for sure.

actually helps a lot. I know the carb is currently on a car, but that doens't mean squat as to where it started life. The key is that its real close to my current one, which is what I want to hear!
