Hey Everyone, I am going to be adding a NOS Cheater system (150-250 shot). I am just curious about whether or not this is going to kill my motor or not. I did order a 100 shot jet so that I wont blast 150 right away. Does anyone have any recommendations on how to work with a microswitch or if I should use the button? I am just brand new at the nitrous thing, I am running 14.6 at 92 mph in the quarter and I want to get there a little quicker. Any advice is very appreciated.

Thanks,

D.J.

Back the timing way up, to start, then you can advance a little at a time. I have my timing fixed at 18-20 degrees at all times, no advance at all. Don't run lean, make sure your fuel system will handle it. Use a spark plug with a colder heat range and a short ground electrode (non extended nose). The bigger the shot, the better fuel you need.
I use a arming switch, which I turn on after the burnout, and before staging, and a full throttle micro switch on the carb. I also have it wired through the electric fuel pump circuit. If the electric pumps are not on, the nitrous cannot engage. DO NOT GET INTO DETONATION. Been there, done that, not good.

I run a completly seperate fuel system for my NOS system, that way I can adjust fuel pressure on the NOS side and not worry about what the carb is getting.

I put my microswitch in the car, down by the cable operated gas peddle.
It was easy to mount there, more room to work but I worry about kicking it out of adjustment. That has not happened yet.
