Can somebody please post a picture of the inside of a slant valve cover so I can see what the baffle looks like and how it is positioned in the cover. Need to add a baffle to my new chrome cover. Thanks a lot.

If you got the new chrome valve cover from ebay dont waste any time putting it on, just throw it away. I bought the same one and cut the baffles out of a junkyard valve cover, and riveted it in, looked real nice.

But 2 months later, the valve cover was leaking like a sieve, nothing but a headache, get a junkyard cover and chrome it, you are better off.

Probably the same cruddy Chinese cover, though. See This thread.

The guy I bought this thing from had two slant valve covers. One was chrome and the other was powder coated blue. How can I tell if it is a cruddy chinese imitation?

No baffles = almost certainly cruddy Chinese. Post a picture or two or three.
