hi im looking for an oil dipstck i got one of those universal ones but im looking for an original one or something that looks original any help is appreciated thanks!

Many different dipsticks were used in slant-6s, depending on the year, the engine displacement and the vehicle type (A-body, B-body, C-body, truck, van, etc.), and sometimes even depending on the carburetion and emissions package! What's your setup?

i have a 72 plymouth scamp with a 225 slant

OK, that shouldn't be too hard to find. Put up a post in "Parts Wanted". Be sure to specify that you're working with a 1972 engine.

If its like the dip stick that came with the 225 in my '72 Satellite, none AC car, it should be a short one. The tip broke off, and I replaced it with a long one out of a later modle slant that hooks to the bracket that attaches to the manifolds.
