Is this cam going to make any more torque then the stock cam? My motor never sees more than 2500 rpm. I just don't want to waste my time changing it for very little improvement.

not sure motors been changed .the lifters are hyd .I have the comp cam already and the parts i need to change it to solid lifters.i am happy with the power of this motor it the lifters are very nosie the oil pressure is 25 lb at a hot idle .i had the rockers and shaft hot tanked and i pulled all the lifter out and cleaned them but the still click from time to time

The stock hydraulic cam is a very mild 228° grind; there are several beefier hydraulic grinds available. Sounds like the lifters themselves could be faulty, but did you hot tank (or replace) the pushrods while you were at it? Remember, on the hydraulic \6, the lifters are fed with oil passed downward through the hollow pushrods, so they must be clean and clear...
