I have a complete 225 that was supposedly out of a Clark Cortez motor home. I have seen a lot on this forum about certain engines having special valves, valve rotators, rods and cranks made of unobtaineum and other such things. What would be the best way to ascertain if this engine has any of that stuff, and would it be worth offering any of it up on Ebag or on the forum?

First step: Check the engine ID number. What-all is stamped on the pad?

 If you decide to sell it, you may want to offer it up on the Clark Cortez forum at http://autos.groups.yahoo.com/group/cortezmotorhomes/ We're a fairly large group of Cortez owners there and you might get more money for it from someone who's looking for an OEM replacement.
