Now, this isn't a /6 Question per se, but I have a leak coming from the wiper swivels on my 1970 dart. I understand the process for fixing the leak, but I can't for the life of me get the bloody wiper arms off the swivels. I've prised the spring-clip retainers back and wiggled the bejeesus out of them, but to no avail. Anyone know any tricks for removing them? Thanks in advance.

Nat

Ok, put a piece of cloth below wiper and wiper conector, get a flat headed screwdriver and use to remove the wiper, just a little push and its off

There's a special tool that makes it a cinch, but you can get by with just a wide flat head screwdriver and a shop rag. Wrap the tip of the screwdriver in the shop towel so you don't mar the cowl paint. Put the screwdriver inline with the wiper arm and pry upward on the very heel of the arm while you apply inward pressure above the hinge with your other hand. The arm will pop off.
