Is it possible to do such a thing? I mean I know with enough money and time anything is possible but has anyone done it or heard of someone doing it?I just want to go fast!!

Dartvader?

Al T. (supercharged)

A couple of Austrailians

This guy with a weird gold lowrider Valiant (Mr. Mopar?)...whatever happened to him?

The turbo is a big project, but EFI is the prefered induction with a turbo, and that is the bigger part of the job. Getting the turbo working was pretty easy, but getting the EFI dialed in and user friendly is much more involved. Let's put it this way, a turbo is a blacksmithing job, while EFI is more a computer skills job. At least the computer skills are what I feel most lacking in myself, being an 'old' guy. If you are a 'young' guy, then you might have been born with your DNA encoded for digital programming just like all young folks.

Fortunately I can take care of the computer programming being that we( my dad and I) also work on an 87 camaro which is fuel injected but I was also wondering, what are these cars running in the 1/4? If they are raced which i'm sure they are since they have a turbo...

I think the Drakes were well into the 10's with theirs, Maybe even the high 9's. Of course that is a race car, and not a daily driver. My car feels like it would turn maybe mid 14's, but I likely will never take it to the track to find out. That phase of my life is in the past now. I could not shift the 5 speed well enough to be competetive, and I don;t want to break my precious creation. I broke enough cars in my youth to last the rest of this lifetime.
