Hi All,
Should my 66 Dart with factory A/C have a radiator fan shroud from the factory? It appears that it might have had one at one time.

Yes, A-bodies with factory A/C starting in '65 came with radiator fan shrouds. They were metal box-type shrouds, and there were variants for all the different configurations (19" radiator, offset for \6, 22" radiator, offset for \6, 22" radiator, centered for V8).

Both of my 1963 Dodge Dart GTs, hardtop & convertible, came equipped with a factory fan shroud on the factory installed (hardtop) and dealer installed (convertible) Mopar Cool Aire A/C units.

These shrouds are metal, but too narrow for the 1966.

My friend has a 1966 Dodge Dart GT convertile with factory air. It has a metal factory shroud.

Walter: Your '63s probably have exactly the '61-'64 "ring" type shroud I need for my '62. Any chance you might be able to lend one to a sheetmetal fabrication shop for reproduction?

Todd: I might have one of the '66 shrouds you need. Do you have a 19" or a 22" radiator?
