The problem with running veggie in a diesel is that it is extremely impratical for short drives. You have to switch back to diesel a few miles before you stop so that there isn't any veggie in the system when you turn the car off. If you leave the veggie on all the time it will congeal in the pump and lines at which point you are as good as dead. Plus since it has to be heated to use it takes awhile for it to warm up enough to burn. If you drive 30+ miles one way everyday then the veggie diesel would prolly work just fine. I know a guy that took his veggie vw rabbit 1900 miles on $20 of diesel and veggie oil.
