I have just bought a 225/6 off Ebay. It came out of a 73 Plymouth Duster
My plans are to install this engine and 904 trans. in a 1939 Plymouth
4 door Sedan. I am looking for dim. drawing of engine to do motor mount
and trans. layout. Does anyone have such a drawing?

Sorry to say that I have not seen a basic engine lay-out drawing on the SL6.
Chrysler was pretty "tight" with their documents and the Slant was never thought of as a performace option, so who knows what happened to those drawings.
If you need some basic measurments, just let use know, I have a few extra engine blocks and a tape measure!

The slant six is probably too long for a easy fit, but it can be done. Brian Long built a '41 Dodge with a fuel injected 170 slant six. The small Mopar L-head six '35 - '59 is a compact design that is about the same length as a Toyota 7M Supra engine. The small Mopar L-head has offset rods which I think were to make the motor as short as practical. I think the radiator support can be moved forward a little to allow for extra motor length. The old Mopar "floating power" motor mounts were on the front of the motor with the sides of the block clear, which means you have some freedom in building custom side motor mounts however you please.

i recall seeing something in my old direct connection chassis book but i'm not sure of the specifics. there is an engine swap section that gives all the dimensions and weights of all the engines and transmissions but i'm not sure how detailed the pics were (if any.) figures i'm not sure where the book is since i moved recently. probably still in storage 3 hours from here.
anybody else have a copy? it may even be covered in the newer books.

I seem to remember the same diagram and chart in the chassis manual. The drawing with dimensions was just as clear and complete for the Slant 6 as it was for the small block and big block if I remember right.

Or is it just convenient memory and/or wishful thinking? I forget!
