As far as the flywheel, use the number above. I would indicate the OD rather than the year (1.95" - '67 and under, 2.15" - '68 and up).
I guess you missed my post.
Or did they still send you the wrong size?

Did you get the 10" or the 9 11/16?

You may have to space your "L" bracket and remove your over center spring.

Did you get a hydrulic TB?

Well,
Since it has happened twice on the same item, I would say they that they are possibly using the wrong specs. They need to get this right or it will be a continual headache to each person that orders a new flywheel. They should pay to have the machining done in my opinion. However, if they say to send it back and we will make it right, that would be OK. But the cost of shipping a 30# flywheel across the country 2 more times was more than it cost me to have ours done locally. Plus I was in a hurry. Maybe they will pay the shipping???I doubt it.
sixty4dartgt, since you have a contact there maybe you can help out too? Any inside help we can get will be greatly appreciated by everyone I'm sure.

Yes I would like to help. When I explained what happen to you Rick, I was told that ordering with the OD would help (hence the post I made). That is why I would like to know how Greg ordered. Hopefully it will get all sorted out. :?

Greg, If I recall correctly we moved ours about 9/16". You may do a search under my name, and I think I put all the details under a "clutch update" note.

Does anyone know what kind of power can this McLeod clutch handle? I tried to send them email through their website a week ago, but no response yet.
I also asked same questions from Spec Clutches. They are not listing /6 on their website, but are looking for a good one now. Anyone ever used a Spec clutch?

If you want answers, best to call Red at McLeod tech line and he'll spend time with you. I just ordered the same clutch (9.5") that Dartvader has behind his turbo slant, so they can handle some power. According to Red, I got one of the last PPs that will bolt to a stock Slant flywheel. He recommended a 9 11/16" unit with a 10.551" bolt circle that he can put on a special pattern on a new flywheel or redrill an old one.
