Our car club had a charity food drive last night. Lo and behold, there sits a gorgeous white Aston Martin DB5. Hood is up, and guess what. A trio of Weber Carbs, a beautiful tubular manifold system, and a big long chrome valve cover sitting on a tilted over engine. I went to the passenger side and told my bride, "hey, That's a Chrysler slant six!" Yup, driving a 727 tranny, and an installation so perfect it looked factory.
What a car!
Ron :D

Far out, man. Where is your club? Maybe the guy would want to give us a rundown on the build.

Cool,

Lou

I was wondering that too, but thought I remembered that was a Jag.

The slant-6 is a very versatile engine, that's for sure. It doesn't care whether it's hauling a forklift around a factory floor, running a green bean harvester machine, carrying you in your '65 Dart to the grocery for a carton of ice cream, or screamin' down the track. In this case (coffee table), I'm sure it does as good a job holding up bourbon bottles as it does holding up coffee cups or tunafish sandwiches or TV remotes.
