I've looked at the amazing prices for new carpet hold downs and figure that any tin shop should be able to make a reproduction fairly cheaply. Certainly can't be the couple hundreds of dollars that I've seen in catalogs. Anybody tried this?
I just spent a bunch of money getting new floors welded into this car as well as new carpet, lighting, alternator, shocks, seat padding and seat belts. I obviously don't want to blow more $ than I have to.
