Hi everyone, just searching for some ways to do an intake (or exhaust) manifold flange in one piece. Did anyone do this? Links or pics?
What are the prefered materials to do it? Mild steel? Aluminium? Stainless? What are the pros and cons?
Thanks for your help

Marc

P.S : i searched for an hour for a triple carb manifold made by a guy on his slant6 rod but i can't find it anymore, does anyone know what i'm talking about and has the link? He had upswept runner going into a very nice plenum. The three carbs attaches on the top. Thanks a lot![/quote]

I believe this is the thread you are looking for....

Also the exhaust and intake would heat up at very different rates. Without any room to expand the exhaust may crack or warp the flange.

Well, i was more thinking of two separate manifolds for exhaust and intake.
It was just the topic i was looking for, thanks!
Still, on that intake manifold the flange isn't in one piece, would it be possible to make it a single part?
