Last I saw he was collecting 4 speed pieces to put a stick in his Volare. That will be cool.

My blue '68 Dart had some "driving by braille" Great Aunt Ruth marks on it when my folks got it in 1982.

My vacation is approved. All I have to do is get the Daytona put together, or take the red car off the jackstands and put fresh gas in it.

Keep workin' boys. I spoke with Neal in MN with my '68 Dart. He has modified turbo parts back and rear axle is going back together ASAP (wheel bearings). We are hoping to make it...

Gotta get busy but I'll be there. Hope the WX cooperates as it can be a bit turbulent that time of year.

If the Duster is running I won't be dialing 19.00s anymore

Went out to Kearney today to run my son's Neon. Over the winter we turboed it and installed a piggyback Megasquirt running fuel only. First pass ever on the track it went 14.28 with Dominic driving and me holding down the passenger seat (and the computer as it was datalogging).

I had to show him how it was done and made a 13.97 pass which he then beat with a 13.94. He finally put the cap on it with a 13.82 at 110 MPH. Not too bad for a People's Turbo of China and a homemade EFI system ;) There's another second in it with some tuning and some tires.

Now, some good news about the track. They have paved that entrance road from the highway to the gate of the track. From there to the pits is still a couple hundred yards of gravel but that long dirt road is now nice new asphalt.

It was a nice day for the first day the track was open this year. Mike J was there and we had a good visit. He's enthusiastic (as am I ) about the June race. And feeling that boost made me crazy to get working on the Duster ;) :D
