Mike,

I spoke with Mike Jeffrey yesterday and he will inquire with the track. It seems that the 3rd weekend in June, the 18th+19th should go on the track schedule, and that should work with most Slanters here.

I can definitely do that weekend, as can Mike.

Any other preferences, or "yeps" for this date?? Dennis? West coasters??

Best,

Lou

That June date will work for me. IF it gets set in stone I can bid my vacation time too. We have to have ours in by Jan 1st for guaranteed time off. :?

Dennis and Mike,

Next step would be to lean on Mike J to lean on the track and SET this date. The track is the only unknown now.

I have no problem with setting it now!

Lou

I talked to Mike Wednesday night. That weekend is out for him. He is going to talk to the track and see if we can get the first weekend in June.

The weekend of the 17-19 is his Divisional points meet at Denver.

Mike and I have also discussed that IF we can't get a weekend that he's not racing the stocker already, I will come out and assume his role as host.

I am good with earlier than June too, but don't want to fall back into August. I definitely can't get any vacation time in August.

I can do June 5, but 12th is out. Late May or early July could work too?

Keep in Mind Late May = Mason Dixon on May 20,21 in Hagerstown. Just a FYI.

Thanks for the reminder, Rick. Wanna start an Eastern schedule thread?? Charlie is working on a S. GA race, then Clay City and Bristol should be Oct and Sept as usual (search web for show dates). Hamby says Wilkesboro will be relocated to Elk Creek, VA, but we'll have the same BIG purse (no dates yet).

Lou
