Trans is in and has all forward and reverse gears plus Park. Barring unforseen maladies I will be there. Many thanks to Mike Jeffrey for loaning me a converter, and to Bill Hoft for coming down and helping with the installation today.

Yeah, I saw that on KRPI's website last night. We moved the race to early June to try and avoid that.

Ouch. Fingers crossed. Might have been tornadoes from my turbo spooling up in Neal's garage. Dart is running and comes up on boost a little before tires break loose, but no road test yet. EFI tuning has begun again. Sleep on it, then drive it tomorrow... Lou |

Big D, Sounds like you could use a pit crew for next year - or at least some warm bodies to split the gas bill. How many will your tow vehicle seat? Rob could ride in the race car itself! Just don't give him your wife's cell number - he gets one beer in him and starts to act like a Shriner in Vegas!

No worries, I do stuff like that without beer. If one of you is real short we can comfortably fit 3 in the Dakota. If one of you is not short, 2 of you will not be comfortable.

I put the front grille and bumper back on the Duster today, gave it a wash and put it away before I can break something. I'll see everybody there! Edit: And my kid is bringing his (my) new (old) '86 Daytona Turbo Z C/S as well. Where's the Neon? He scattered the engine. I bought the Daytona last week for $100 and a pistol... |

I sold a car and got $600 and a Model 29 Smith once. Still have the gun, and even ended up with the car back. The $600 is long gone though.  Looks like the weather will be fairly decent for the weekend.
