Lately, when I put the trans in R, the car just sits there. Moving the selector around a bit, to D, P, etc., and it works. Gently pushing the shifter from from R to P, it catches and goes in reverse. I am thinking the cable needs adjusting. I've sort of got the mechanicals of it down, but what is the best way to jack up the car to lose the least trans fluids. Any help here would be appreciated.
