How big of a valve (exsaust and intake) can be put in a 1971 225 head,thanks,,,speedfreak.

It's been covered many times throughout the forum. Do a search on 'valve size' and you'll get about 12 pages.

well I tried valve size and wording it deferent ways and it told me no matches,this happened on other search topics with the same results,whats up with that?

I put 1.72 and 1.50 SBC valves in my head. It is a definite advantage to Sweep the chambers around the valves for flow. The bowls need to be enlarged to match the valves.

Everyone,thanks allot,just what I was looking for,i've played around with 318,340,360,but this is the first time for a 225 or any 6cyl,its all new to me,thanks again,,,speedfreak.
