I need some input on a rear end ratio for street/strip car. I have a 8 1/4 sure grip rear, with a heavy duty floor shift 3 speed. The head has had some major machine work done/ oversizes valves, the whole 9 yards. Looking into running a cam with 460 lift. I was thinking about 4.10 ratio , but the car will screem on the highway......not sure what the gear ratios are in the tranny. thanks.

this will make a big difference in what you would want to run in the rear end
