well. i tried dans' recipe for an engine flush. i think it worked out ok. i ran 2 quarts marvel mystery oil, 2 quarts auto trans fluid, and 1 quart gunk 5 minute engine flush, since there was no b-12 to be found at any store. the rest of the solvents sounded a bit too flammable, since the main ingredient was lighter fluid...
did it three times. first batch was black, second was nice red, and third was clean as it went in. ran the engine at a decent clip last time around.
now lets just hope the fluid isnt clean because every single oil passage is blocked!
