I'm mounting a 4 bl AFB to a manifold I made out of a stock 1 bl.
I'm mounting it with the primaries facing the engine and not
forward (which would make it easier to fabricate linkage).
I'm not concerned with kickdown as I'm going to manual valve body.
My stock throttle cable reaches and attaches to the carb, altho it is a
bit tight. Anybody have ideas and pictures of attaching the cable.
I guess I need to make something which bolts to a carb mounting bolt
or the manifold that has something that can anchor the throttle cable.

I was kind of surprised to have had no responses to this.
But anyway I was able to find some junkyard throttle cable tie down bracket
pieces from a 78 Aspen, I think, and with that and some hardware from Home Depot I was able to make something that worked using the original
throttle cable- didn't need to go Lokar or anything esp since I don't
have to do a kickdown cable.

Hey slantswinger. I don't have a picture of the manifold, but what I did
was hog out a stock 1 bl manifold with a sabre saw, and then attach
a 2bl to 4 bl adapter (Mr.Gasket I think, readily available)
I have not driven the car yet, as the front suspension is in pieces,
but I have started it and revved it and it seems like it will work great.
There have been some other threads on here in the past about others
who have made the manifolds themselves.
