I've read that it's good idea to have the exhuast manifold milled across the mounting face to ensure a good seal, no leaks. Would it be good to do the intake also? If so, should they be bolted together as they would mount on the engine or done separately? I'm running a Clifford aluminum intake and a stock cast iron exhaust. The exhaust is going to be high temp coated, should this be done before or after milling?

I would mill both manifolds, bolted together, and have the exhaust coated later
