A friend of a friend has this 1958 Dual Ghia. one of about 125 made. extremely unusual and beautiful car. The car's drivetrain is based on 58-59 chryslers with the 318 engine and 3 speed auto-trans.

they're looking for a power steering gearbox seal kit. The gearbox housing is aluminum. does anyone have an idea of who to ask for seal kits?

A guy had one of those cars at our car show a few years ago, his was a 383, supposedly 100% original, and he gave me the idea that thay were all 383s. There was an article in one of the Mopar mags on these cars a few years ago, I remember seeing it but don't remember what it said.

steer and gear comes to mind, or maybe kantner auto parts? this may be a situation where he would have to send it out for the rebuild. those seals are something that may have to be "matched up." if he doesn't like the idea of letting it out of his sight, he may tray and clean it up and take is to a bearing and seal supplier or a hydraulics shop and have them match the seals by taking measurments or possible part numbers on the seals themselves.
a quick email to ehrenberg may be a good idea as i think mopar action has done features on these cars in the past. maybe he knows what model the steering box is or refer you to a source for parts.
now, how about some pics of this car?
